Country artist Carrie Underwood is currently wrapping up her seventh headlining tour, The Denim and Rhinestones Tour, but not without a huge surprise for her fans!
Underwood took the stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on March 13th, surprising fans with a special guest appearance. Guns N’ Roses icon, Axl Rose, joined her onstage for a legendary performance of “Welcome to the Jungle”.
Underwood has made it well known that she is a GN’R superfan prior to this performance. She has made “Welcome to the Jungle” a part of her regular setlist throughout her tour, performing it during her encore of each show. Although surreal, this was not the first performance that the duo has had together.
The pair came together on stage last year during Underwood’s headlining set at California’s Stagecoach festival in late April, where they sang GN’R classics “Sweet Child O’ Mind” and “Paradise City.” Later that year, Underwood joined Guns N’ Roses during two of their shows in London.
Although The Denim and Rhinestones Tour is coming to an end very soon, Underwood has definitely shown her fan’s that she is full of surprises when it comes to performing,
Guns N’ Roses are scheduled to start performing in June in the Middle East, making their way to Europe in late July. In early August they will begin their North American Tour.
