After being cooped up inside for so long during the pandemic, there’s a pent up longing for wide open spaces and more freedom. Take a trip to the great outdoors through fictional rural Absaroka County, WY in the hit TV show, Longmire. You may already be a fan of Longmire from its run on A&E and Netflix.

In the binge-worthy show, widowed Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is joined by his deputies Vic Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) and Ferg (Adam Bartley) as they investigate the trouble-makers behind the drugs and corruption that have taken over northern Wyoming. The series begins when Sheriff Longmire stumbles upon a deceased body in the woods and is tasked with sharing the unfortunate news with the wife of the deceased.. It’s up to him and his partner Vic to get to the bottom of this gruesome discovery, which is only the first of many crime mysteries to come. In doing so, they find themselves surrounded by unearthed Longmire family secrets.. While her dad is busy with his own detective work, Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) takes the investigation of her mother’s death into her own hands.

The Western town appears to be peaceful and pleasant, but with each episode, the story becomes more and more complex…and deadly.

For crime-junkies or fans of Yellowstone and its prequel 1883, starring Tim McGraw, his wife Faith Hill and Sam Elliott, Longmire is going to be right up your alley. Filled with suspense and thrill, you’ll have to keep watching until the very end to learn the truth.
