NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (September 22, 2022) – Award-winning Circle Network announced today the release of new original series “Inside the Base,” where Country Music’s favorite artists are thrown into the trenches with our nation’s troops, as they tour Military bases across the country and train with America’s active-duty troops and learn what it takes to protect and serve our country.  Produced by Orpheus Live Productions, the series will feature appearances from artists such as Michael Ray, Lauren Alaina, Travis Denning, Riley Green, and more. Set to premiere on Saturday, October 1 at 10:30pm ET, this is Circle’s first-ever series where artists have been given the opportunity to go behind the scenes at active military bases and experience firsthand the intense training that makes our nation’s heroes.

“We are proud to partner with the U.S. Military on this most important project,” says Circle SVP of Content Evan Haiman. “Inside The Base affirms our commitment to honoring our soldiers while providing an expanded, best-in-class entertainment experience.”

“Having the opportunity to film artists alongside our troops has been an incredible experience for everyone involved in this production,” remarked Orpheus Live President and Executive Producer Rebecca Abrahams. “This series showcases our soldiers in a unique manner, so it was very important for us to feature artists that have an affinity for the troops. It has resulted in authentic, compelling, and inspiring storytelling.”

“Inside The Base” is a half-hour television docuseries that follows leading Country artists as they tour U.S. Military bases across the nation and participate in live training activities with active-duty soldiers. The premiere episode follows Michael Ray as he attends the final week of basic training with cadets at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

The series supports U.S. Military recruiting efforts while growing and expanding Circle Network’s original programming lineup. It also allows music fans to immerse themselves deeper into Country artists’ stories.

On Tuesday this past week, Circle Network in partnership with the Department of Defense hosted a special premiere screening event for the new series in Washington D.C. The event took place at the National Museum of the United States Army at Virginia’s Fort Belvoir, and featured a special intimate performance by Michael Ray.
