Clint Black is returning to Circle Network for a new season of his show, Talking in Circles with Clint Black. Leading up to the premiere airing Saturday, March 12 at 10/9 p.m. CT, catch Clint’s Circle Network takeover, Clint Black Plays Here. The back-to-back programming will begin at 6/5 p.m. CT and includes previous episodes of Talking in Circles with Clint Black featuring Country superstars Darius Rucker, Travis Tritt, John Rich and Brad Paisley, Circle Sessions: Behind The Curtain, CMA Songwriters and Clint’s performance on Opry Live.
It’s been three decades since Clint Black released his debut album, Killin’ Time. Back then, his big gig was in a Texas nightclub. Since then, he has earned 22 No. 1 singles and sold more than 20 million records in the U.S. and Canada. In 2020, he released his 12th studio record, Out of Sane, which includes singles such as “Hell Bent,” “My Best Thinkin’,” and “America (Still in Love With You).”
Just a few years after Clint got his record deal, Tim McGraw signed with Curb Records. With his second record, “Not a Moment Too Soon”, released in 1994, Tim burst onto the scene. This album soared to the top of the charts and produced two No. 1 singles with the title track and “Don’t Take the Girl.” He has racked up 30 No. 1 singles and sold more than 40 million albums.
Tim and Clint were both criss-crossing the country touring and became friends through working in the industry, but also through their dad duties. Since their kids went to the same high school, they saw a lot of each other while watching their kids’ softball games.
Also, both Tim and Clint have taken on some acting roles. Tim has been in Friday Night Lights, The Blind Side and the Yellowstone prequel 1883.
Clint told Evan Paul of Taste of Country Nights that Tim revealed a secret to him just as they were about to walk on set to sit down for Clint’s show.
“We’re in the Green Room, right? And he says to me, ‘Look, I gotta tell you this great news, but you can’t ask me about it in the interview,'” Clint shared. “It’s 1883. He had just inked the deal for 1883 and told me about it, and then we walk out and tape the show and I can’t ask him about it.”
Through all his success, Clint has been interviewed countless times by many different media outlets, and now, he’s moving out of the hot seat as he becomes the one to ask the hard-hitting questions. The Grammy-winning country superstar will sit down with his friends and celebrities including Tim McGraw, Marty Stuart, Joe Bonamassa, Tracy Lawrence, Tommy Shaw (Styx), John Hiatt, Dennis Quaid and more to ask thought-provoking questions.
“I’ve known some of these guests for decades and they still surprised me! I know everyone is going to enjoy them as much as I did!”
See his interview with Tim on Saturday, March 12 at 10/9 p.m. CT on Circle TV.
