Country superstar Cody Johnson recently announced that he will be releasing his newest album titled Leather—but with a twist! His newest album will be a double album, consisting of 24 brand new songs.
Cody Johnson broke the exciting news during an interview over the weekend, stating that the two dozen songs on his upcoming album are the “best round of songs I have ever recorded.”
“Each album should outdo the last one,”Johnson said. “There’s some fun stuff, I think the theme of this new album is fun. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a ballad or whether it’s tongue-in-cheek kinda fun, It all has to be fun, it all has to make you kind of want to move around and bob your head a little bit.”
Fans have been patiently waiting for new music from the country singer ever since Johnson teased the possibility of new music on his Instagram back in February. He also revealed that he had recorded a duet with country superstar Carrie Underwood, in which we can expect on his newest album.
