Country artist, Kacey Musgraves is partnering up with actress Reese Witherspoon to find the next country music sensation!
The duo have officially teased an upcoming competition series called “My Kind of Country,” which will bring together contestants from all over the world to find the next country music star.
“When we got together, a long time ago, we were talking about how country music should stop limiting people and start opening doors,” Reese Witherspoon explained as she discusses the thought process behind the series.
“My Kind of Country” will feature Orville Peck, Jimmie Allen and Mickey Guyton as celebrity talent scouts, and the series will see each of the celebrities take on four artists each.
The winner will receive a life-changing experience from Apple, including global exposure across the Apple TV+ and Apple Music platforms.
The show will premiere on March 24, 2023 only on Apple TV+
