Old Dominion Crashes Kenny Chesney’s Concert With an Epic Prank

During one of the recent stops on his ongoing “I Go Back Tour,” Kenny Chesney received the ultimate surprise from Old Dominion.

After nearly ten years, Chesney made a grand comeback to the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana on May 20th. It was a significant occasion— making it the perfect moment for some light pranking.

As Kenny Chesney started performing his chart-topping track “Save It For A Rainy Day,” Old Dominion made a grand entrance onto the stage.

Lead vocalist Matthew Ramsey took to social media and eagerly announced that Chesney’s team had no idea about their surprise. They had devised a plan to “break in” without any tickets or passes. Much to their delight, the plan unfolded flawlessly, catching Chesney completely off guard.

“Nobody pulls one over on me,” Chesney said about the prank. “My band and my crew can’t keep secrets, but they kept this one!”

“I don’t think I’ve ever been more surprised in my life than I was last night,” Chesney admitted in an Instagram caption. “I’ve missed them, I love them, and I’m proud of them. What a fun night,” he added.

There are only two shows left of the “I Go Back Tour” and this stunt was a perfect way to wrap up the memorable journey!

Chesney’s last show will be on Saturday, May 27, at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama.
