Kenny Chesney has a reputation for being highly private about his personal life, which made it all the more unexpected when he invited his mother to join him onstage during a recent concert in South Carolina.
The audience was treated to a delightful surprise as Chesney’s mother enthusiastically sang along to “Half of My Hometown” alongside her son and Kelsea Ballerini.
The trio gave a heartfelt performance that had the crowd cheering and they loved the touching family moment. There’s no doubt that this performance will go down in history for Chesney and his mom, who seemed like a natural on stage despite being away from the limelight!
“Mom came on stage last night to sing with me and Kelsea Ballerini. Such a special moment,” Chesney said in an Instagram caption.
Kenny Chesney will continue to be on his I Go Back Tour, with Kelsey Ballerini, until the end of May.
