Shelton shared insights into how the serene surroundings of Oklahoma have subtly transformed the California-native.
While Blake hesitated to label Gwen Stefani as a full-fledged country girl, he revealed that the serene landscapes and laid-back lifestyle of Oklahoma have revealed a different side of his wife.
“I’m not going to say that she’s become this country girl,” Blake shared, “but I just think we’re starting to see a different side of Gwen.”
This transformation extends beyond the surface, as Gwen has delved into unexplored musical territories due to the inspiration that her Oklahoma surroundings have given her.
The pop sensation has discovered a musical outlet in country music, a genre that Blake believes has allowed her to showcase her exceptional vocal talents and songwriting skills.
“I think country music has kind of given her the chance to show what an incredible vocalist she is,” Blake said, “and an incredible songwriter.”
