Marketing/PR Freelance Consultant

 

Responsible for performing a variety of PR/Marketing/Social/Creative tasks. This freelance position requires an out of the box thinker, who’s willing to step in where needed. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized and creative. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with content team and production companies to create marketing plans for show roll-outs. Also handles execution of those plans.
  • Leverage outside production companies’ marketing assets to extend Circle show reach and impact viewership (ex. Jesus Calling new book launch, magazine, email database)
  • Work with our PR Agency and VP of Strategic Partnerships to execute PR and Marketing tasks, and ensure workflow is seamless
  • Works with outside PR Agency to write rough drafts, provide content and handle approval process for press releases
  • Maintain year-at-a-glance PR/Social/Stunt Marketing Grid
  • Provide PR, Marketing project management for special projects (telethons, specials), network stunts, artist takeovers, etc.
  • Create presentations, decks, one-sheets and reports when needed 
  • Write and create content for multiple newsletters including weekly fan newsletter and monthly industry newsletter. (MailChimp experience a plus.)
  • Work with vendors to create and manage Circle Swag/Merchandise
  • Write artist liners, promo copy, content and stunts, and show copy when needed
  • Industry/Artist Relations initiatives
  • Work with Circle Digital team on website direction and messaging and write copy when needed for company website.
  • Plan industry and company events as needed
  • Write in-show copy, livestream and network reads for Opry Live each week

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  •  B.A. Degree or equivalent, preferable with a marketing or business focus
  •  General understanding or an interest in television 
  •  Must have ability to communicate effectively and tactfully – in person, over the phone and in writing
  • Project Management or Event Management experience required
  •  Design experience a plus (especially as it relates to creating presentations in Photoshop, Keynote, etc.)
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills – ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that are deadline sensitive
  •  Impeccable attention to detail
  •  Fluent in Microsoft Office

Distribution Marketing Project Manager

 

Responsible for day-to-day relationship with distribution partners (network affiliates, Dish and AVOD – Peacock, Roku, Xumo, etc.) performing a variety of tasks to provide support to the AVOD marketing and increase viewership. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized and creative. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Management duties with existing and newly launched AVOD and MVPD platforms for asset management, communication, ads, stunts, deliverables, etc.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with our AVOD partners
  • Create presentations, decks and one-sheets 
  • Create and write a weekly newsletter to relay communication to our network affiliates (MailChimp a plus.)
  • Write and proof AVOD copy for website, Opry Live, socials, etc.
  • Work closely with social team to maximize AVOD and Dish viewership
  • Work with graphic designer to oversee creation of materials
  • Coordinate integration on AVOD and Dish of show/series, block promotion, stunts including promo production 
  • Maintenance and enhancements to affiliate portal with materials
  • Handle execution of on-platform ad campaigns
  • Maximize remnant ad opportunities on AVOD platforms
  • Handle special projects and activations for Dish and AVOD platforms
  • Maintain an active dialogue with linear network affiliates to maximize local opportunities for Circle
  • Expense management, invoicing and tracking, especially for ad campaigns

Social Media Coordinator

 

The Social Media Coordinator works alongside the Social Media Director to create, plan, and execute content for Circle All Access on all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube). Includes creating graphics, writing copy, interacting with followers and fans, “live-tweeting” during live shows, manning/ monitoring the Circle All Access Facebook group and text group, scheduling and posting YouTube content. The Social Media Coordinator also assists in marketing plans surrounding Circle All Access programming, works with artists’ management companies to coordinate social content, and runs reports on followers and social growth. The social media coordinator must have a go-getter attitude, be creative, and have rock star social media chops. The candidate must also have a grasp of the brand personality of Circle and exude that in creating the social content and be tactful in dealing with social communities.

Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities

  • In depth knowledge of all social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok
  • Design content that helps grow subscribers
  • Excellent communication, vocabulary, and spelling skills
  • Create engaging text, image and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new shows, livestreams, contests, etc.
  • Measure social traffic
  • Provide weekly reports and analysis; research and gather key insights
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Facilitate online conversations with fans and respond to queries
  • Report on feedback from customers and fans
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Suggest new ways to attract and retain prospective customers/viewers, like promotions and competitions
