While many speculate saying Pistol Pete wasn’t that great in the NBA, Bobby states that Pistol Pete had ball handling skills that no one else possessed at the time. In his own words, Pistol Pete is an “urban legend”. In college, Pete averaged 44 points a game at LSU and subsequently 24 points a game in the NBA! While he may be retired now, Pistol Pete was sure a force to be reckoned with in his prime!
