Country superstar Carrie Underwood recently celebrated her 40th birthday on March 10th — and fellow country music artist Brad Paisley had a hilarious way of wishing his good friend a happy birthday.
Paisley took to Instagram to wish Underwood a happy birthday with a humorous dig at her driving skills and a shoutout of her newest single Out of That Truck.
In an Instagram video, the iconic duo are driving in a truck together, with Underwood wildly driving around a dirt field. Underwood seems like she’s having the time of her life, while Paisley appears slightly terrified, shouting, “Jesus Take The Wheel!” Needless to say it seems like Paisley is really wanting Out of That Truck..
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood share a close friendship that dates back to their early days in the country music industry. They first met in 2006 when Paisley invited Underwood to join him on his Time Well Wasted tour. Since then, they have worked together on numerous occasions, including co-hosting the CMA Awards for over a decade.
Their friendship is often reflected in their on-stage chemistry and playful banter during performances and award shows. They have also expressed their admiration and respect for each other in interviews and social media posts.
Carrie Underwood is officially wrapping up her Denim and Rhinestones Tour this month, but Paisley will be kicking off his North American tour on March 18th.
