Chris Janson Opry Entrance

Chris Janson’s Iconic Entrance to the Grand Ole Opry

Chris Janson celebrated his Grand Ole Opry Anniversary in style!

The country singer’s visit on Tuesday night marked his 5th Opry anniversary, being inducted on March 20, 2018.

Since the release of his debut album, Janson has achieved numerous awards, carving his name in country music history. He won the ACM Video of the Year award for his inspiring, gold-certified hit “Drunk Girl,” which also earned him the Song of the Year title at the 2018 MusicRow Awards. Additionally, his chart-topping, triple-Platinum hit “Buy Me A Boat” won the iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Song of the Year.

Chris Janson’s impressive timeline called for an entrance to match, and he certainly did not disappoint! Making a grand arrival at the artist entrance of the Grand Ole Opry in Minnie Pearl’s Cadillac, he set the tone for what was to come. But that was just the beginning!

When Chris Janson stepped into the circle to perform “Folsom Prison Blues,” he did so while wearing the iconic topcoat of country legend Johnny Cash. What’s even more thrilling is that he was able to leave with both of these cherished possessions, becoming the new proud owner of the iconic items.

The entire evening was a proud moment for Chris Janson, and he undoubtedly left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. We can’t wait to see what he accomplishes in the next 5 years of Opry membership and beyond!
