Country Artists Reveal Which Era of Country Music They Would Travel Back To

We asked one of the hardest questions to country artists…If you could travel to any era in country music, which era would you travel to? Warning, some of these responses may surprise you!

Country artists Ian Munsick and Hannah Dasher argued that the 1960s and 1970s were by far the best era of country music. Hannah even mentioned, “Take me back to 1961 and let me live all through the 60s and 70s!” We can’t deny the 60s and 70s had some of country music’s finest! Icons like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and many more made 60s and 70s a staple in country music history!

Another frequent response was love for the early 2000s country music! Rising artists Cooper Alan and Lily Rose were quick to show their admiration for the 2000s era of country music! The 2000s featured some of country’s biggest names like Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw and the list goes on and on! See below for the full video!

Perhaps the most popular response was none other than the 1990s! It’s no surprise that 90s won this round because the 90s are loved by most country fans! Country artists Alexandra Kay, Chapel Hart, Emily Ann Roberts, and Drew Parker all agree that the 90s would be the best era of country music to travel to! Emily Ann Roberts adds, “The 90s because they were just so fun!” The 90s were the birthplace for country legends like Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Clint Black, Keith Urban, and more!
