Dolly Parton just rolled out a brand-new song from her highly anticipated rock debut album, “Rockstar,” and guess what? It’s a cover of the ’90s hit by 4 Non Blondes, “What’s Up?”
But wait, it gets even more exciting because Dolly teamed up with the fantastic Linda Perry, the former lead vocalist of 4 Non Blondes for a legendary collaboration!

Dolly Parton’s rendition of the song is the most recent song release from her rock-themed album. Just before this, she unveiled her rendition of “Let It Be,” where she collaborated with music legends Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. And prior to that, she delighted us with her take on Queen’s “We Are The Champions (We Will Rock You.)”
In her 30-track rock and roll album, scheduled for release on Nov. 17, Dolly collaborates with an impressive lineup of music legends, including Elton John, Paul McCartney, Steven Tyler, Stevie Nicks and many others.
