Hailing from Louisiana, she began her musical journey in theater and opera, crafting her first song at the tender age of 13. Laine’s exceptional songwriting skills came to the forefront when she won the Nashville Dreamin’ contest with her emotional track, “The Little Girl in Me,” inspired by her grandmother’s courageous fight against cancer. Along the way, she garnered attention from Kidz Bop and Radio Disney Country, solidifying her presence in the industry.
Now calling Nashville home and studying songwriting at Belmont University, Laine Lonero has rocked out at some of Nashville’s hottest spots.
“I am actually really excited about my releases this year, Laine tells Circle. “I never thought I would put four songs out in one year. I know everyone is busy, but being able to keep up with everything while also going to Belmont, writing, performing, working etc. has been a challenge. I also checked off a couple items on my music bucket list which include my Song Suffragettes debut, meeting with Apple Music, and all my releases so far landing on multiple editorial playlists. I have watched others do these things and dreamed about one day doing them myself, and it happened,” she adds.
