“It was easy for me to jump on this song, especially since it’s been almost a year since my dad passed away,” Peyton says regarding the inspiration behind the song. “The last verse in the song really hits home for me. It was definitely a Godsent because even though I’ve got photos, memories and stuff to remember my dad by, it’s when I hear this song that he really comes to mind.”
