Season 24 of The Voice is set to premiere in a few weeks, and the coaches’ shenanigans appear to have returned as well.
In a new promotional clip shared on the NBC show’s Instagram, viewers were treated to an initial glimpse of country icon, Reba McEntire, stepping into Blake Shelton’s role as a coach for the upcoming season.
The video showcases Reba as the “queen,” engaging with her fellow co-stars Niall Horan, John Legend, and Gwen Stefani. In a particular scene, Gwen playfully targets the singer, referencing some of her own career achievements.
“I’ve had two country hits,” Gwen Gwen confidently announced.
In true Reba fashion, she jokingly quipped back by saying, “I’ve had more than two.”

In July, The Voice’s verified Twitter account disclosed the show’s return with a back-to-back two-day premiere set for September 25 and 26. The announcement was joined by an image that featured the coaches and host Carson Daly, gearing up for yet another season that appears to be filled to the brim with friendly banter.
