Country music band Parmalee have officially confirmed that a collaboration with Jelly Roll is on the way! The new song will be titled “Boots On Broadway.”
Prior to their performance at Country Thunder Arizona over the weekend, the group gave fans insight about how the project came to be.
“We’ve been friends like 10 years. He’s one of our first people we met when we moved to Nashville,” the band said.
“He comes out of our house and our lawyer introduced us, and he rolls out there with a couple of his buddies. They were just fresh out too…We were like, I don’t know if we’re going to write a song or going to get robbed,” the band joked.
It’s been revealed that the collab will appear on Parmalee’s upcoming new album, which will serve as the follow-up to their 2021 album, For You.
This is not the first time that the successful country artists have collaborated before, however.
In fact, they had the chance to perform together when Parmalee opened for Jelly Roll at his milestone sold-out Bridgestone Arena concert in December 2022.
Parmalee are currently touring for their 12-date “Take My Name Tour.” They will also make multiple appearances at music festivals this summer.
Jelly Roll recently announced the release of his country debut album WHITSITT CHAPEL, which will be available on June 2. He will go on tour starting July 28, with special guests Ashley McBryde, Caitlynne Curtis, Chase Rice, Elle King, Merkules, Struggle Jennings, Three 6 Mafia, and Yelawolf on specific dates.
