Rising country artist Hannah Dasher stopped by for a Circle All Access Exclusive interview to give us the inside scoop into all things Hannah Dasher to prepare for her newest album release, The Other Damn Half dropping Friday, October 20th!
You may know Hannah from her viral cooking and music content on TikTok, but there’s more than meets the eye than just her iconic bell bottoms and hair style.
Hannah Dasher told Circle that she always knew from a young age that she was destined to be an entertainer. Having gown up listening to country classics and rock n’ roll, Dasher was influenced by some of the greatest musicians of all time. Legends like Reba McEntire, Tammy Wynette, George Strait and many more are what fueled Hannah’s love for music and her country roots.
Hannah brought up her struggles from a young age of not always fitting in with the “pretty girls,” but believes this was a blessing. She states, “I would learn how to capture the attention of a room, and as an entertainer and songwriter, it is my job to not only capture but hold your attention.” Well you have sure captured our hearts Hannah!
Calling Hannah Dasher determined is an understatement. After she graduated from the University of Georgia, she headed to Nashville with nothing but a dream. She started playing shows as much as she could. Dasher recalls, “I started creating a buzz for myself around here, until Whiskey Jam found me.” Hannah became one of the first women to be included on a Whiskey Jam lineup! Soon after, Hannah received a record deal and publishing deal!
Things started to change when the pandemic happened in 2020, where her TikTok career took off. She states, “The world shut down and I made the platform my stage. We weren’t able to perform, and I needed to perform.” Nothing was going to stop her! She soon realized that women her age didn’t know how to cook, so she decided to make cooking content to help those learn fun and yummy recipes. She soon went viral for her classic southern recipes and her series, “Stand By Your Pan.” She has reached a huge following of over 1.5 million followers on TikTok.

While focusing her efforts on her social media platform, she wasn’t able to put as much time into her music. After the release of her album The Half Record in 2021, she revealed that she originally wanted to release the full record, but faced some push back from her label.
Now, 2 years later, she is gearing up for her highly anticipated second half of the album called, The Other Damn Half ,that drops Friday, October 20th! Dasher says that she chose the songs for this album based on what the fans wanted and what the fans were singing along to at her live shows. “I tested these songs out. I took myself out on my own tailgate tour. A fan donated a F-350 flatbed truck and I crashed some concerts in the parking lot such as Eric Church, Jon Pardi, and Brothers Osborne,” Hannah says. So it’s safe to say that this album is one for the fans!
