Jelly Roll Announces New Country Album

Get ready to turn up the volume, because Jelly Roll is back with new music!

The Nashville native announced the highly-anticipated release of his new album, WHITSITT CHAPEL, set to drop on June 2. This 13-track record is packed with Jelly Roll’s signature sound and features his latest single “Need A Favor,” which is already heating up the charts.

Jelly Roll took to Instagram to announce the news to fans, along with unexplained messages that some people are assuming will be song lyrics.

What makes these posts unique is that they were displayed on a billboard for Whitsitt Chapel Baptist Church, the artist’s childhood church.

After the massive success of his record-breaking No.1 hit “Son Of A Sinner,” fans have been anticipating new music coming. Jelly Roll teased on twitter back in February about potential projects to look forward to.

As fans wait for his album release, they can also look forward to watching him walk the red carpet at the CMT Music Awards, where he received three nominations. The awards are set to take place in Austin on April 2, but that’s just the beginning.

The artist will embark on a 44-date “Backroad Baptism” tour starting on May 5, which will take him nationwide. Joining him on tour will be the phenomenal Elle King and recent Grammy award winning Ashley McBryde, as well as Chase Rice and a lineup of exceptional rappers, such as Academy Award-winning legends Three Six Mafia, Struggle Jennings, Merkules, and Yelawolf.
