Kyle Petty can do it all.
Kyle Petty has had an extraordinary career, showing great success in racing, music, television and more. During an exclusive interview with Circle, Petty discussed the most impactful moments throughout his long and ongoing career.
“My life changed directions so many times,” he tells Circle. “I’ve bounced around and [have] done so many things. My dad always says that I should’ve just stuck to one thing, I’d be a lot better at it,” he joked.
Although there’s so many different moments to choose from, Petty emphasized that the most impactful thing throughout his life continues to be the people he surrounds himself with.
“Being around people like my dad, David Pearson and other people around during that time of our sport was an impactful thing for me,” he tells.
“To watch these guys and their dedication to what they love and what they did is something I try to emulate,” he adds.
It’s evident that Petty’s motivation is unstoppable as he continues to be part of NASCAR. Although he has retired from being behind the wheel, he serves as a fixture on pre- and post-race NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series race coverage, and also contributes to NBCSN’s daily motorsports show NASCAR America.
