A devoted Luke Bryan fan experienced an unexpected surprise while attending the Country On Tour concert in Darien Center, N.Y on Friday night , June 16.
The fan was completely unaware of what was in store for her when Bryan called out her name and invited her onto the stage.
“So Shannon’s husband has been fighting overseas for a couple of years, and I wanna get her to help me. Come up here with me right now,” the singer said as the crowd went wild.
However, the biggest surprise was yet to come.
Shannon’s husband was patiently waiting backstage to give her the shocking surprise of being back home. As he stepped out onto the stage dressed in his military uniform, the crowd caught sight of him before Shannon did, erupting into applause. When Shannon finally turned around, she couldn’t contain her overwhelming joy as tears streamed down her face.
Luke Bryan, who was visibly moved by the moment, joined in with the crowd to sing “Country On” as they witnessed the emotional reunion.
Luke Bryan ‘s Country On Tour began June 15 and will include a total of 35 dates spanning across the United States and Canada, concluding on October 28.
After the tour, he will make a return to his Las Vegas residency at the Resorts World Theatre, with shows starting on August 30.
