Luke Bryan Says It’s Time He Slows Down and Focuses on Family After a ‘Rough Year’

Luke Bryan is ready to slow things down.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Luke Bryan opened up about the challenges he faced in achieving a healthy work-life balance, as well as the immense pressures he experienced, following the conclusion of Season 21 of American Idol just before embarking on his nationwide tour. The country star acknowledged that he is seeking to prioritize quality time with his family, following what he described as a challenging year.

“I’m not really balancing it that well this year,” he admitted, regarding his juggling of career and family.

Bryan revealed that he told his wife, Caroline, that they will prioritize a vacation once the year comes to a close.

“I’m like, ‘Baby, this is a rough year, let’s just get through it and then we’ll find a boat and go to the Caribbean or something,’” Luke shared.

2023 has proven to be a whirlwind year for the country superstar, and there’s no sign of things slowing down for him in the near future.

Following the conclusion of Season 21 of American Idol, Bryan recently took center stage at CMA Fest, held at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. As if that wasn’t enough, he is now gearing up for his highly anticipated Country on Tour. This tour will include a total of 35 dates spanning across the United States and Canada, concluding on October 28.

After the tour, he will make a return to his Las Vegas residency at the Resorts World Theatre, with shows starting on August 30.

It’s safe to say that Luke Bryan’s schedule remains jam-packed, at least for the remainder of the year.
