Luke Combs has collaborated with Bubba Wallace for a spotlight on the recently unveiled No. 23 NASCAR car, showcasing a design created through a partnership with Combs’ longterm brand partnership, Columbia Sportswear.
“Honored to be the inspiration behind the design on the @columbia1938 and @23xiracing No. 23 Toyota for Saturday’s race at Daytona,” Combs wrote on social media. “Go get ‘em @bubbawallace!”
Combs and Wallace both share a hometown bond; Combs originates from the Charlotte, N.C. area, while Wallace’s grew up in the nearby Concord area. The car is colored with North Carolina Tar Heels’ blue lettering, and includes a photo of Combs during a performance, accompanied by his name inscribed across the vehicle’s hood.
Wallace will take the No.23 Toyota for a spin at Sunday’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at the Daytona International Speedway. The race serves as the Regular Season Finale for the NASCAR Cup Series and will air on NBC at 7 pm ET.
