Lambert shocked the crowd at the famous country music festival when she brought the Canadian singer up on stage at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. They sang two songs together on Friday evening, Lamberts hit song “Kerosene” and Lavigne’s famous track “Sk8ter Boi.”
Lambert, sporting a long-sleeved black shirt and a skirt with her signature pink fringe, strutted across the stage to the beat of the drums as she introduced her guest singer.
“I’m out here to make more bada** moments happen right now. Will y’all welcome my new bestie, Ms. Avril Lavigne to the stage?” she asked the audience.
Lavigne and Lambert’s collaboration wasn’t the only unexpected performance at the show. She also extended an invitation to Elle King to join her on stage for their chart-topping hit “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).” Additionally, Leon Bridges made a special appearance to perform their recently released duet “If You Were Mine.”
