News broke this past Wednesday that country icon Miranda Lambert has decided to split ways with her long-time label, Sony Music Nashville, after 20 years.
She states, “Since I was 19-years-old, Sony has been my home in Nashville. Over the last 20 years together we have released albums that allowed me to share my story with the world, and we’ve reached heights I never even dreamed were possible.” Lambert shared on social media that she’s looking for the next challenge and a new way to “stretch her creativity.”
Although Miranda hasn’t commented on what’s in store next, whether she will be signing with a new label or releasing music independently, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!
