Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation Donates $250K to U.S. Animal Shelters

For the third consecutive year, Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company have collaborated to donate more than $250,000 to animal shelters across the country.

Under the Mutts Across America program led by MuttNation, they are honoring one remarkable shelter or foster-based rescue in every state and also selecting a special “Wildcard” recipient, where the deserving organizations will receive an unexpected grant of $5,000 each.

“It’s simple to locate worthy shelters and rescue organizations across the nation,” Bev Lambert, co-founder of MuttNation and mother of Miranda Lambert, who also originated the idea for Mutts Across America, said in a statement. “However, the challenge lies in selecting just one from each state.”

MuttNation’s, a nonprofit organization established in 2009 by Miranda Lambert and her mother, Bev Lambert, main objective is to raise the adoption of shelter pets, create awareness about the positive effects of spaying and neutering, and promote these practices.

MuttNation also provides financial assistance and collaborates with transportation partners to aid and relocate animals in times of natural disasters.
