Morgan Wallen and Lil Durk Release New Song ‘Stand By Me’

Morgan Wallen and Lil Durk have, once again, teamed up in the studio to release their newest collaboration ‘Stand By Me.’

Fresh off the shelves today (May 26), the collaborative song is featured on Durk’s new album Almost Healed which is the follow-up album to his highly acclaimed 2022 release, 7220. Having soared to the top spot on the Billboard 200 last year and accumulating an impressive 120,500 equivalent album units, it became his second chart-topping win. Almost Healed proudly presents an array of high profile collaborators, such as the talented J. Cole, Alicia Keys, Future, Kodak Black, and the most surprising collaborator, who holds the reigning spot on the Billboard 200, Morgan Wallen.

Having joined forces in the past, Wallen and Durk found success with their track “Broadway Girls” in 2021. The hit song made its debut in the top 20 of the Hot 100.

Taking their new collaboration in a different direction, ‘Stand By Me’ is an emotional project. Its lyrics express the fear of a partner abandoning them during challenging times in life or questioning their loyalty when faced with hardship.

“If tomorrow I lost it all / And everything that I have was gone/ When there’s nobody else to call
Would you stand by me? Would you stand by me?/ When the world tries to keep me down (When the world tryna keep me down)/ And there’s nobody else around (And there’s nobody else around)
Keep it real, can you tell me now? (Tell me now)/ Would you stand by me? Would you stand by me?”
