Post Malone Appears on the Country Airplay Chart For the First Time With ‘Pickup Man’

Post Malone is making a big entrance into the country music scene, landing his first spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Post Malone’s take on the classic “Pickup Man,” released under the title “Joe Diffie featuring Post Malone” on November 9 via Mercury/Republic/Big Loud Records, swiftly captured audience’s interest, snagging him a spot of country charts for the very first time.

Billboard reported that in the week of November 3-9, the rendition attracted 826,000 impressions. Notably, this debut occurred after just one day of tracking, highlighting the rapid impact Post Malone is making in the world of country music.

On November 8 at the 57th annual CMA Awards, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, and HARDY performed “Pickup Man” live. They not only paid tribute to Joe Diffie with this song but also covered another one of his hits, “John Deere Green.”
