Country superstar Shania Twain brought an unexpected twist to the Austin City Limits festival over the weekend.

Co-headlining alongside the legendary rock band Foo Fighters, Twain surprised fans by making a surprise appearance during the band’s headlining set to perform their iconic hit, “Best Of You.”

“This was one off the bucket list for me! Twain wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and the rock band.

“Firstly thank you to @foofighters for inviting me on stage – you are all so generous and ridiculously cool,” she continued. “I am a huge rock fan. My first band was a rock band, my first big producer was one of the worlds renowned rock producers, me and my son like to rock out. Totally worth the adrenaline fuelled run from my stage to yours Dave Grohl – you are a true friend and talent.”

The collaboration was a true fusion of genres, blending Twain’s country/pop talents with the Foo Fighters’ rock energy. “Best Of You,” originally released as the lead single from the band’s 2005 album “In Your Honor,” took on new life with Twain’s distinctive vocal style adding depth and emotion to the performance.
