Toby Keith made a comeback to the spotlight with two unplanned shows in Oklahoma over the weekend, signifying his return to public appearances after announcing his battle with cancer.
According to an Instagram post, what began as a rehearsal at Hollywood Corners, a restaurant he personally owns in his native state of Oklahoma, transformed into a spontaneous performance that gathered hundreds of people.
“Toby‘s first rehearsal turned into a 2 1/2 hour pop-up show,” the caption said, “He sang all the hits plus the Bus Songs…Toby is back!”
Keith’s impromptu show had him singing hit tracks, including a rendition of his 1993 chart-topper, “A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action.”

In June 2022, Keith revealed that he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer and had started treatment. However, in a recent interview with The Oklahoman, Keith expressed that despite the challenging effects of chemotherapy, his health is progressing positively.
