Trisha Yearwood and John Prine to be Inducted into Austin City Limits Hall of Fame

Austin City Limits is all set to welcome two more legendary musicians into its Hall of Fame: the sensational Trisha Yearwood and the late, great John Prine.

Trisha Yearwood’s timeless hits have been serenading us for years, and now her incredible voice will be celebrated in the live music capital of the world. Meanwhile, John Prine’s unforgettable folk and Americana songs will be honored, ensuring his musical legacy lives on.

In a star-studded event on October 26, actor and filmmaker Ethan Hawke will do the honors of inducting John Prine, according to Billboard. It’s a fitting tribute to a man whose songs have touched our hearts and souls.

But that’s not all! Founding member of the Eagles, Don Henley, will take the stage to induct Trisha Yearwood. And here’s the icing on the cakehe’ll also perform in tribute to Yearwood. Remember the country smash hit “Walkaway Joe” from 1992? Well, you’re in for a treat as these two reunite for a musical journey down memory lane.

The night will also include tributes by Jo Dee Messina, Ronnie Dunn, Tyler Childers, Allison Russell, Kurt Vile and Tommy Prine.

Back in 2014, the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame came to life, shining a dazzling spotlight on the incredible talents who’ve played a pivotal role in turning TV’s longest-running music show into an iconic chapter in country music history. Austin City Limits isn’t just your run-of-the-mill television program or music festival; it’s a cultural phenomenon that has left an indelible mark on the realm of music and entertainment.
