1. He Lives in Arkansas
To be a popular country music singer, one would typically assume that living in the Nashville area would be the norm. However, Justin Moore has opted for a different lifestyle. Although he lived in Nashville for a decade, Justin and his family now live in his hometown of Poyen, Arkansas, where he continues to pursue his music career. As soon as Justin and his wife started a family, they chose to prioritize raising their children in a familiar environment, rather than in the urban lifestyle of Nashville.
2. He’s a Morning Talk Show Host
In 2022, Justin joined 103.7 The Buzz as co-host of the station’s morning drive-time program, called “Morning Mayhem.” The morning talk show focuses on Arkansas sports, something that Justin knows a ton about as a die-hard Arkansas Razorbacks fan. Although it can be tough with touring schedules, he has just signed another year long contract for the morning program.
3. He Met His Wife in College
In a love story that tugs at heartstrings, Justin met his now wife, Kate, while on a senior trip in Panama City, Florida and have been together ever since. They married in 2007 and now have three daughters and a son.
4. He Won an ACM Award
In 2014, Justin won the New Artist of the Year award at the ACM Awards, marking his first win at the event. He was up against tough competition from fellow nominees Kip Moore and Brett Eldredge. Although Justin was older than most fellow new artists at the time, his first ACM Award at the age of 30 was only the beginning of big things to come within his career .
5. He’s a Cowboy Hat Aficionado
One thing about Justin Moore is that he takes his hats VERY seriously. Justin will often be seen sporting a cowboy hat in some form or fashion— so much so that he has a special case for his hats that he carries around so they don’t get damaged while touring!
