Watch: Luke Bryan Releases New Music Video For “But I Got a Beer In My Hand”

Luke Bryan just wants to have a good time— and his new music video proves it!

Bryan turned to social media to share the exciting news of his latest official music video release for his chart-topping hit “But I Got a Beer In My Hand.”

The music video, filmed at Free Dreaming Farm in Springfield, Tennessee, kicks off with Bryan experiencing the unfortunate event of a flat tire, leading him to hitch a ride with a friendly local passing by. In an unexpected twist, the country star finds himself transported to a bustling bar.

As he belts out the party anthem, Bryan navigates through the hustle and bustle of the small-town gathering, where people are dancing, playing intense card games, and indulging in plenty of drinks.

In the concluding scene, Bryan reunites with his bandmates on stage and effortlessly cracks open a can of his very own Two Lane beer.

Written by Chase McGill, Matt Dragstrem, and Geoff Warburton, and skillfully produced by Jeff Stevens with additional co-production by Jody Stevens, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand” stands as one of Bryan’s fastest rising singles to date. Within 11 weeks from its release, the song soared into the Top 15 on music charts, solidifying its widespread appeal. Making a memorable television debut, Bryan showcased the song during the season finale of American Idol in May.

Recently, Bryan delighted his fans with the exciting news of adding another tour stop to his highly anticipated Farm Tour 2023. The tour is now scheduled to take place in six cities during the fall, spanning from September 14th to 23rd. Additionally, he continues to perform around the country with his Country On Tour, which is set to run through October 28th.

Looking ahead to next spring, Bryan will once again grace the screens as a judge for ABC’s seventh season of American Idol, joining forces with fellow judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie in Spring 2024.
