Carrie Underwood Gets Matching Tattoos With Her Sisters and Mother: “I Never Would’ve Thought I’d See the Day”

We love a heartfelt mother/daughter moment!

Carrie Underwood, along with her mother, Carole, and sisters, Shanna and Stephanie, decided to get matching heart tattoos during their visit to Las Vegas.

The country sensation took to social media, sharing multiple photos of their tattoo adventure and confessing her surprise at her mom’s unexpected suggestion to get them.

“When your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas, the only questions are, “what?” and “where,” Underwood jokingly captioned a picture of their new ink.

“I never would’ve thought I’d see the day that Mama Carole would be gettin’ some ink,” she adds.

While Carole may have had her first tattoo experience, it certainly wasn’t Underwood’s. In fact, the country star seems to have developed a newfound interest in tattoos lately. Back in May, she showed off new ink to her fans in pictures, revealing a dainty flower tattoo on her forearm, which she got during a fun girl’s trip to Destin, Florida, accompanied by her sisters-in-law.

Underwood kicked off her summer leg of her Vegas residency in mid-June and is currently taking a break from the show. However, she will be back to perform more dates in September. The Reflection residency will conclude for the year in early December.

In addition to her return to Vegas, Underwood made another big announcement recently. She revealed her plans to release a Deluxe Edition of her album Denim & Rhinestones, featuring six new tracks. To celebrate the occasion, Underwood surprised her fans by sharing a new song from the album titled “Take Me Out.”
