Jon Pardi is officially set to become an official member of the prestigious Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, October 24!
Back in April, during his performance at Stagecoach, the multi-platinum singer, songwriter and producer received a special invitation to join the Opry.
While he was in the middle of his set, the Emmy-winning restaurateur, Guy Fieri, surprised the audience by joining him on stage. Fieri then turned to the video screen, introducing a video from country music legend, Alan Jackson asking Pardi to become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.
“I get the honor to invite you in front of all your Stagecoach friends out there to be the first native of California to become an official member of the Grand Ole Opry,” Jackson announced.
Pardi was also welcomed on stage by Dan Rogers, Grand Ole Opry Vice President and Executive producer, placing a famous Grand Ole Opry mic stand in front of Jon. “This guy makes the Opry happen. He debuted on the Opry stage almost 10 years ago, and we love it every time he comes onto the show,” stated Rogers.
