After his record-breaking performance at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN on Saturday night, Sheeran surprised fan’s by making a visit to Santa’s Pub, a karaoke bar that held fond memories from his time living in Nashville a decade ago.
Sheeran shared a video on Instagram, showing him delivering a rendition of the Backstreet Boys’ 1999 hit “I Want It That Way.”
Sheeran broke the attendance record at Nissan Stadium Saturday night, attracting over 73,000 people to the venue.
“Celebrating breaking the attendance record at Nissan Stadium in Nashville tonight at Santas pub,” Sheeran captioned the post on Instagram. “When I lived here this was the spot and it still is. Karaoke caravan and cheap beer, what’s not to love x.”
Sheeran sang multiple songs, including One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” and a special performance of his hit song “Thinking Out Loud,” as a newlywed couple stood by his side.
Ed Sheeran is definitely proving that he is a master at surprising his fans, most recently shocking a crowd in Detroit just a few days earlier when Eminem joined him onstage to sing hits “Lose Yourself” and “Stan.”
