Eric Church Named as Country Music Hall of Fame’s New Artist-In-Residence

The Country Music Hall of Fame has announced Eric Church as the Artist-in-Residence for the year 2023.

This prestigious honor entails Church hosting two exclusive performances at the Hall of Fame’s CMA Theater. With Church personally overseeing the design and curation of these shows, attendees can expect a truly unique and unforgettable live experience.

“As a student of the rich history of country’s most prolific artists, the Country Music Hall of Fame is a shrine of reverence for this songwriter’s heart,” Church said in a statement. “I’m honored and humbled to be in such esteemed company.”

Church will be included in a legendary roster. Past participants include country icons such as Miranda Lambert, Kenny Rogers, Alan Jackson, and many more.

The performances are scheduled for August 29th and August 30th. Tickets for both shows will be available for purchase by the general public on Friday, June 23rd. However, museum members and members of Church’s “Church Choir” fan club will have the opportunity to access tickets early through a special presale on Thursday, June 22nd, starting at 10AM. The ticket prices range from $75 to $500, excluding ticketing fees, and all proceeds will support the museum’s educational mission.

Along with Church’s recent appointment as an Artist-in-Residence, he also recently announced his own exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum honoring his extraordinary journey and contributions throughout his career. Titled “Eric Church: Country Heart, Restless Soul,” this captivating exhibition is scheduled to open on July 13, 2023, and warmly welcome the public until June 2024.
