Jelly Roll just pulled off the ultimate collaboration.
On Monday, Nov. 20, Jelly Roll took center stage at The Big 98 Friendsgiving, a charity concert for St. Jude, which was held at the Grand Ole Opry house.
Featuring Jelly Roll, Riley Green, Chris Janson, and more, the event not only raised awareness and support for a crucial cause but also gifted the audience an unexpected collaboration that turned out to be exactly what we didn’t know we needed!
Jelly Roll had a trick up his sleeve that no one could have anticipated. While on stage, he pleasantly shocked everyone by bringing out none other than hip-hop legend Nelly. Together, they delivered a show-stopping performance of Nelly’s classic “Hot In Herre,” leaving the crowd amazed.
Although this partnership might seem unexpected, Nelly has expressed a keen desire to venture into the country music realm. In 2021, he launched his collaborative country album, “Heartland.” Additionally, he paid a remarkable tribute to Tim McGraw at the 16th annual Academy of Country Music Honors. During the event, Nelly delivered a live performance of a song in honor of Tim McGraw, who was given the ACM Icon award this year.
