Luke Bryan believes his son isn’t fully prepared to take on the roads just yet.
On an episode of Audacy’s Katie & Company, Bryan opened up about his attempts to teach his 15-year-old son how to drive.
“He’s 15, so he’s doing the whole learner’s permit nightmare,” Bryan tells. “He is not a very good driver right now, so we’re having to work with him pretty hard.”
“He’s very frustrated right now because he thinks he knows how to drive, but he has no idea what he’s doing,” he added. “He thinks because he can operate a 4-wheeler or Polaris that he is quite proficient, but he is not, I assure you.”
Caroline, Bryan’s wife, on the other hand couldn’t contain her excitement about their son learning to drive. She shared the awesome news of him getting his permit last month on Instagram, proudly posting a celebratory video.
Recently, Bryan has expressed that it was time to prioritize his family and slow down his career a bit. He acknowledges that he hasn’t effectively balanced his professional and personal life in the past. Given his demanding schedule, Bryan puts in extra effort to ensure he can be present at home, cherishing every moment he gets to spend with his family.
